product check: recurrent 2:1 shampoo + body wash

It’s hard to know what your hygiene products are really made of. At recurrent, we’re going to save you the time and tell you exactly what recurrent’s 2:1 shampoo + body wash is made of, and why.

What are the ingredients?

In recurrent’s 2:1 shampoo + body wash, we use only seven completely natural ingredients to keep your hair and body clean and hydrated. Three of those seven ingredients are the keys to giving you healthy skin and hair. We have our secret weapon, the reishi mushroom, a completely safe and natural ingredient that prevents acne by eliminating bacteria and toxins.

We use refined shea butter, which is chock full of fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals to soften skin and for added soothing and hydration we use all-natural coconut oil. This balance of cleansing ingredients with light moisturizers is what allows our 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash to effectively clean your hair without it becoming oily and at the same time cleanse your skin while not drying it out.

What about the suds?

You may be wondering why our shampoo doesn’t lather in the same way as others that you may have used in the past. The ingredients that create the full lather that people have become used to in their shampoos are called sulfated surfactants. Instead of using synthetic sulfates, recurrent’s shampoo and body wash uses natural surfactants that don’t have the same lather type. People have been led to believe that shampoos and soaps that lather better, clean better but that’s not true! Our all-natural shampoo and body wash gives you all of the cleaning power with none of the synthetics.

It’s as simple as that! Uncomplicated, natural ingredients that you can trust because you can understand them.
